Does McMiller's have anykind of ammo resistrictions (ie. no steelcore, no fmj, etc...) Right now, McMillers is about the same distance from the public range at Yellowstone State Park for me.

99% sure the only restrictions are no .50 BMG and no full auto.

Could you please tell more about Yellowstone. I looked it up on the DNR website and it does not mention a range.

Nothing in particular... I didn't see the other quote though.

It just seems to fit with all the flooding we've got around here (the indoor range here has been closed for a couple of weeks due to flooding, and doesn't look like it's going to open anytime soon)... and I'm a big Hank Williams fan

There is a huge WW2 reenactment that weekend in Rockford. Otherwise that would be a blast before the big deer push starts.

McMiller is shut down in a legal dispute over the lease. There is an article in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel this morning.

Are there any other public rifle ranges in the Milwaukee area? I need to sight in a new scope before I leave for WY for an antelope hunt next week. Help!!!

A friend and fellow Gunboards member took me as a guest to his private shooting club (Oconomowoc Sportsman's Club) this afternoon after he finished work.
