"Weak" 9mm factory loads for old guns

There are some older threads on here about the softest or "weakest" factory FMJ 9mm loads for use in old handguns. However, in my experience, factory loadings change over time and what was once a "weak" load might not be as much anymore. That said, does anyone have some fairly recent chrono data for 9mm FMJ loads, with an eye towards the slower stuff? I'd like to avoid the old debate about how most factory, non +p stuff is fine - if there's a "softest" load out there, I'd just prefer to use that and be done with it. No need to put more stress on these old guns than necessary.

Which old guns are these? Many of the older 9mm ammo was actually hotter than today's commercial ammo

Soft is going to vary based on gun used and person shooting. Same ammo will be much softer shooting in a S&W 5906 (40oz stainless steel) vs a pocket gun like a Kahr CM9

PMC and UMC have always been underpowered to the point where some guns won't cycle them properly

If you want crono results you may want to state type of gun since the same ammo shot out of a longer barrel will have higher velocity and will skew your results

Definitely had a different experience with Aguila. Bought a case and used the 124gr in Glocks, Sig 226, Beretta 92, HiPower and S&W 5906 without so much as a hiccup

Win white box was kind of my benchmark before hearing others' opinions. I don't really have any experience with Aguila. I've heard UMC is underpowered, but it's also just about the dirtiest factory ammo I've shot and had inconsistent primer ignition.

Any barrel pressure issues with using 124gr or 147?

I would rate UMC as the lowest power I have fired - and I run them in blow back SMGs, so you can really tell the difference. MP-40, STEN, Lanchester, etc. The UMC will barely clear the ejection port of the gun. same for Win WB, but it goes a little further . S&B, Federal all seem to be a NATO spec ammo. Personally I stay away from the Com bloc steel cased stuff. most of my shooting is done with my reloads anyway, and I tailor them to the guns . ( pistol, SMG Etc) I keep the pistol loads light to give my arthritis a break.....
