Vetterli rear sight

Hey all. I just acquired a fairly nice example of a Italian Vetter 1870/87/15. Mine has basically no bolt slop when locked, and no exposed brass, and a near perfect bore. I plan on shooting it only with cast bullets in the 1400-1500fps range and not regularly. But I do want to be able to say I've shot it. Mine is not an RTI gun it came out of a private collection from a guy who had it since the 1970's but it is missing the rear sight. I'm hoping someone might see this and have one they'd be willing to sell or would know where I could get one. I realize that with RTI selling a ton of these lately that all of the rear sights on the market are probably getting snatched up pretty quick. I honestly don't care if it's the sight from a 1870, and 70/87, or an 70,87/15, I'll make it work. Thanks in advance for any help.

"Hen's teeth". None exist. Buying a "parts gun", i.e., a rifle you could strip for useable parts, or a beater take off barrel with intact sights, are about your only options.
There are no reproduction sights made afaik.

I found a guy with a few barrels complete with sights for $130 a piece. I'm going to see what I can design and 3D print and if that fails I may buy a barrel from him. Then I'll have to find someone who can remove and install the sight. I've read silver solder can be quite tricky to remove without damaging parts. Most of the gunsmiths around here swap parts, build AR'S, and mount scopes and call themselves gunsmiths. The last really good machinist/gunsmith i knew retired.
