Hello guys,
I’m posting today because I am unable to answer a question.
Long ago I discovered that larger magazines than the good ol’ 10 rounders were made for the 7.62x54r SVD (and all its variants).
I know there are polymer ones, metal ones, but I couldn’t find their capacity for sure.
From what I’ve read from many sources, this type of mag is a 20 rounder. That’s what’s written on Dragunov.net and that’s what’s written on the description of this mag on Escape from Tarkov.
If you don’t know the game, it’s developed by Russians who have access to this type of gear and who try to represent weapons and gear as realistic as possible.
So it would be curious if this type of mag doesn’t hold 20 rounds.
Problem is, I also read about people claiming it is a 15 rounder.
I don’t know who to trust.
Also I’ve encountered these polymer mags:
Same question here, what is their true capacity ? 15? 18? 20?
Does anyone happen to know for sure about this and give the final answer ?
