Significance of these Markings on 1927 Izhevsk?

Thank you for bearing with me as I continue rummaging through my Mosin collection. I was trying to find something on this "00" marking on the barrel. Lapin's book doesn't have any mention of them in the proof mark reference section. Thanks again for sharing your expertise!

Early pressure test markings.
Introduced in 1922--indicates firing of two "proof" cartridges. Tested rifles were stamped with a "OO"; these markings were only used at Izhevsk, afaik.
Replaced later with concentric 0 within 0.
