This is my first venture into Springfield 1903's, I am in Australia and mostly collect Lithgow No1 MKIII and P14 but now I am looking at collecting a M1903A3 but these are rare in Australia but the 2 I am looking at are

Remington, M1903A3, mint bore, excellent

Smith Corona, M1903A3, mint bore ,excellrnt, 4 groove barrel

Some questions

Who else made M1903A3's ?

Which is a better made rifle ?

Which is rarer?

What to look out for?

Thanks

Cheers
