The papa nambu is a very high quality gun as to fitting and finish. Bad design features such as safety and no hold open except by magazine follower. They were hand fitted and the parts did not interchange. Which is insane for a military weapon. Even the magazines often did not interchange, I have 14 papas. Most show heavy use. The bores more then often are very worn. A lot of them were captured by the Chinese and remarked with what looks like electo-pencils with people liberation army and unit markings. The holsters run in the 800 range. The papa runs from 1400 in poor shape to 3500 plus in very good condition. They are very good shooters. Accurate and work well when they are all matching. A complete set of pistol in VG condition with two matching mags, cleaning rod and VG holster i think at auction would bring in the 5000k range. The name papa is American the Japanese called it a modified 1902. A lot show Siamese marking.
