I just checked the web site, and it shows them.

 

I find that .310 are too small, too narrow. I find I get ammo meltdown and resulting squibs with .310 bullets. I use Hornady .312 diameter bullets with excellent success.

 

I'm also using Hornady .312's. I just finished making 100 rounds of 7.7 brass from 30-06 cases

 

I just measured the bullet diameter of a couple dozen various 7.7x58 and 7.7x58sr cartridges, ball, tracer and AP.
They all measured out at .310 and .311 diameter.

Pulled projectiles from 7.62x54r, 7.65 Argentine and 303 British are all suitable for loading 7.7x58.
All those projectiles are .310 to .311 diameter.
You can also use projectiles intended for the 7.62x39, but they are on the light side at only 123 to 125 grains, but they will work.

Japanese T99 rifle war time production bore diameters run all over the place from .310 to .316.
But, the Metford style rifling will shoot flat base bullets fairly well, no matter the bore diameter, with in reason.
Most Japanese T99 rifles will not shoot boat tail bullets well, unless the bore is tight in the .310 to .311 diameter range.

 

Thanks for the heads up Gregg, i was needing bullets for my Mosins and Type 99's and these fit the bill.

 

Got em, but had to buy 1000. Now gotta get some good brass.

 

PPU is the best bet price wise for 7.7x58 brass at this time, and it is really good brass.
But you can easily make 7.7x58 brass from 8mm Mauser, 30-06 or 270 brass.

 

anyone else sharing .303 projectiles?

 

Have not seen pulled 303 projectiles in years.
Hi-Tech did have soft point pulled 303 projectiles a few years back, but they are long sold out.
