Dear all,
I just bought a nice Black window P08 Luger Byf 42- matching number - VGC - full black bakelite - with its nice "fxo" magazine from Haenel if my memory is right..
But the serial number is a bit mysterious to me.
It is a "N" block with number "1368" -
For me, but surely I'm wrong, the last block for Mauser in 1942 was block letter "M" not "N"... and was attributed to the last Mauser made sold to Portugal in 1942. This one is definitely N.
What is this one ? a Bulgarian or Portuguese one still ?
I join some pictures of the marking. For me nothing different from the usual suspect : a classical "German Army " ...
Maybe one of you could tell me more about my finding
Nice day to all.
