I hope this is the right section for this question. I am not sure where else to ask. I listed a No4 Enfield on Gunbroker for sale in January. I think the listing was a 30 day listing. It was a fixed price. I had a "buyer" with a "NR" rating "purchase" the item. I sent him a message with payment and FFL information (where/what to send). The "buyer" did not respond. After the required length of time, I filed a Non-paying bidder complaint. From my understanding of Gunbroker rules, I had to relist the item in order to receive seller fee's credit. I relisted the item for two reasons. One, I wanted a credit for my selling fees, and two, I wanted to be able to list my item during the tax season when a lot of sales occur. I did not want to be tied up with a person who had no intention of following through with a purchase, and miss the opportunity to sell my rifle. Regardless of my wants, Gunbroker does state that I have to relist the item. I did. After filing the Non Paying Bidder complaint, the original "buyer" sent me a message stating he was going to send payment. I did not respond. The "buyer's" message was written by a foreigner who cannot speak English very well (I will post a screen shot of the "buyer's" message below. The "buyer's" name is supposedly "Yu Wang" (I suspected this name was a fake account with a name that made fun of Asian pronunciation of the word "You rang", but who knows). Anyway, today, the item was "purchased" by a second buyer who also has an "NR" rating. I immediately sent this "buyer" an email with payment and FFL information. Not long after this, I receive a message from the first "buyer" stating that he sent a Money Order for payment. The first "buyer" also listed an FFL address on Gunbroker (I checked my previous "sale" listing almost every day, and today was the first time I saw this buyer's FFL listed on site--strange coincidence that it happened the exact day I made a "sale" to another buyer). So, now I have two "buyers" for one item. As I stated, my understanding of Gunbroker rules is that I have to relist the item. I had contacted Gunbroker via their contact form on their site. This happened about a week or two ago, and I still have not received a response from them. This contact involved my suspicion that the first "buyer" was not a legitimate account (I am a little suspicious of "buyers" who "buy" and item and never pay or respond. This happened to me frequently on Ebay, and I always suspected the "buyers" were actually fake accounts set up by unscrupulous sellers who wanted to remove listings/competition from the site and keep items tied up in limbo for a month--you have to go through a lengthy process on Ebay, and this prevents you from being able to relist your item for sale to potential customers). Anyway, I did send Gunbroker another message this evening requesting assistance in the matter. I would prefer to talk to a live person, but I did not find a number for customer support. I am curious if anyone else had a similar problem on Gunbroker, and how they handled the situation. I realize this is quite lengthy, and thank anyone who took the time to read all of this. The communication from the first "buyer" is shown below. As you can see, this person cannot speak English. I suspect some sort of scam. The first buyer is located in Alabama. The second "buyer" is located in New York (not even sure if I can sell an Enfield to a New York resident due to the ten round detachable mag). Also, if the first "buyer" cannot speak English, how can they even buy a firearm in the U.S. (i.e. are they even a citizen?)?
