Most Mark X rifles were manufactured by Zastava in Yugoslavia (Serbia). From what I was told the barreled actions were then shipped to Manchester England the European HQ of Interarms where the were stocked. A few Marks Xs that I have examined had Made in Yugoslavia on the left receiver under the wood line. Late rifles I heard were made in the Czech Republic. The latest Mark X I've come across has no made in Yugoslavia on the receiver under the wood line and a CZ butt plate making me think it must be one of the Czech built examples. Anyone know how many and at what point the Czechs started making the Mark Xs?
They seem to be very high quality rifles with nice fit and finish. This example already has Weaver mount bases attached so I decided to mount an extra Leupold vx-R Patrol I had laying around.

The 7X64 mm Is supposedly a very popular chambering in Europe comparable to the 280 Remington here. I've been looking at a Steyr Model L in that chambering but haven't decided whether or not to buy it.
