I got this in trade, it was in unfired condition when I got it (not anymore!).

Import marked KBI INC, HARRISBURG PA. on the right side of the slide.

REF: FEG GKK-45 - Hungarian Weapons - FegArmy Pistols

Smooth action, very nice weight and feel to it. 8-round magazine.

It is a scaled up Browning HP. It was developed for the Bulgarian State Police, I believe in the 1980's. Once deliveries were completed, FEG continued to build them for the civilian market, and they were imported into America for a few years. They are uncommon today, and can be found on the gun auction sites all the time.
I currently own two of them, and they are fine shooting pistols. For the money, they are excellent pistols. That heavy trigger pull can be taken care of in single action, but the double action trigger pull will be long and heave no matter what you do. By the way, they use standard 1911 magazines, including higher capacity single stack 1911 magazines.
