No wish to be contrary, but can you name the liberal who loves America? I'll spot you everyone from the top down to Joe Manchin. We'll say that they all love their country. Who is the next good but wrongheaded liberal? Oh, and the one who will let us shoot at the range, just to stay on topic.

I borrowed that from a sub reddit forum. It's amazing how many libs, LGBTQ are gunning up and have been ever since Trump won.. Even with these inflated prices. And not just one gun mind you. Seems like they have money to spare.

They may be a huge part of the buying craze. Crazytown.

Now I want a 300 winnie.

I lurk on the Liberal Gun Owner forums a decent amount. Not that I support them, I just like to see all the batsh!t insane mental gymnastics they use to justify their position.

Liberal gun owners are not second Amendment supporters. They’re merely people who like guns. The Liberal Gun Owner sub on reddit is a cesspit of idiots, communists, socialists and other people who could care less about gun rights. The ownership of firearms is a mere convenience for them. 99% of liberal gun owners are little more than Fudds who actually support gun control.

They chastise conservatives as conspiracy theorists, but their main stated reasoning to own firearms is based on some delusion that Nazi’s are going to start rounding them up.

They think conservatives are chomping at the bit to start a civil war, but many of them post about how they’re arming up to prepare to shoot anyone on the right.

The Socialist Rifle Association is even more deluded and dangerous. They misconstrue Marx’s “under no pretext” quote to say that Communism is pro-gun rights.

The most hilarious part is how they will argue that the Democrat party is actually pro-gun, and that Republicans are the party of gun control.

Gun rights are not a priority for Democrat voting gun owners. They are not allies. They can tell people they are pro- 2nd amendment all they want, but if they vote for the scum who promote these BS laws, they are not our friends.

Of course more people owning guns in theory would be good for our cause, but not if the new gun owners continue to vote for democrats. They are such a minuscule part of the party that the democrats can afford to not cater to them. They know that they’ll vote for them no matter what anyway.

If they actually wanted to do something productive, they’d try to prove to Democrat politicians that they will not vote for them if they pursue gun control.

We all really have to learn to distinguish liberals from progressives. Most of the people on those boards are progressives not liberals, which is why they talk that way.

I argue with liberals over the value of lower capital gains and marginal tax rates, expanding welfare, school choice and right-to-work - which are not things to shoot each other over. We both respect the rule of law, stand and put our hands over our hearts during the pledge, and cheer at the Fourth of July parade.

I don't argue with progressives about anything because they believe anyone who does not share their revolutionary program to bring down America and destroy western civilization is evil. They don't argue they demand and punish.

Isn't the US a great place? Everyone can believe what they want, and speak what they believe. I know everyone I listen to is wrong, but it is great they are allowed to believe what they believe. And, even though I know I am the only one who is right about everything, I don't have to hate the other folks for what they believe. Best country I know of.

Last I heard there were over 10 million liberal and independent gun owners according to a 2016 survey which is a lowball number. Cus who really gives answers about things like that? I'd say triple that now. Looking at the demographics of it seems like liberal (including progressives) and independents are outpacing conservatives on sales of guns.

Some newer studies are popping up on the subject.
