A friend is currently visiting Norway. He was doing some shop hopping and found an antique store that had a couple of Finnish knives as used by the Suomi??? He picked up this one in very good condition.

I asked if there were any more.
He said, “there was a second knife- it was older and original, with a darkened blade- it was about 100 $ usd equivalent. Definitely an original from ww2 or the 1950s with no pitting on the blade.”

So I asked him to go back and pick it up for me.
my main question is how much are these knives actually worth? Is $100 for an original a reasonable price, being sight unseen? He seems to think it was still decent.

“Fjellkniv” is Norwegian, one appearing to be very close to this model is available for 39€ says my quick internet search. Not Finnish military issue.

First things first...there are a lot of repro pukka knives in the US but the usually have a shorter blade...I would think in Europe there wouldn't be a market for repros.
Puukko is a type of knife, pukka is Aussie slang 🤭

It’s not a reproduction, it’s just a modern working knife.
