Criterion M1 Garand barrel perfromance vs USGI

Ok, it has time for me to re-barrel my M1.

I'm not a competive shooter, I may put 200 rounds a year through my rifle, I have heard that the Criterion M1 barrels a very good for the money. Here are my questions:

Accuarcy- As long as they perform as well as a USGI barrel accuracy wise, I'm happy
Barrel life- What can I expect?

Any info/feedback will be helpfull

I have no direct experience with Criterion barrels, but I would fully expect them to be on a par with the GI barrels.

At 200 rounds a year, that barrel will likely outlive you, and your grandkid might be the one to have to worry about replacing it.

Criterions are every bit as good as USGI if not better.
200 rds a year? you dont have to worry about wearing out a barrel. They will last as long as any USGI Barrrel

I have heard nothing bad about Criterion barrels accuracy wise. That is especially true of the 03 rifles because I have heard more about them than the Garand barrels. I prefer USGI as I am a collector but for shooting, they are gonna serve very well. The company was famous for match barrels for many years.

I have a Criterion barrel that came installed on my HRA service/special. Accuracy is very good, prolly be better if my eyes were worth a damn anymore.
