Looked at a 1943 m38 with two strange features. Really crisp CAR in square stock cartouche on a otherwise sanded and worn wartime stock and a Yugo m44 rear sight leaf that's in the white cleaning rod also in the white. No import marks. The CAR maybe CRA mark looks familiar to me but I can't place it. Probaby a long shot, I remember years back there was a whole webpage of unknown stock marks.
