I went to the gun show this morning to buy some ammo. I took non-matching Chinese T-53 (Mosin-Nagant) to haul around. I found a vendor that was willing to swap the rifle plus $50.00 for a NIB Bodyguard 2.0. I had no problem with that because I had less than a hundred bucks in the rifle. It was not a deal to write home about but I was pleased with the result. (I still have 3 very nice, matching T53s)
I like the way this piece feels in the hand, but when I got home and shot it, the points had to be knocked off some of the stippling on the backstrap. They left the factory like needles. A few passes with an emory board solved that issue. The little pistol handles well, the trigger is very decent, and I could actually see the sights, and hit what I was shooting at. Who could ask for more? The only drawback, at this time, is that even with good hand strength, I can not get rounds 11 and 12 in that magazine. I am going to have to break down a buy a mag loader if that doesn't fix itself after a short while. The ten round mag was a bit of a struggle, but I was able to load it fully.
I am going to really air this one out tomorrow to see what I got.
