Anyone know anything about 1955 IHC Garands?

I read somewhere that a late IHC M1 Garand would have mostly Springfield parts or possibly mixed. Somewhere in the 5.01-5.18 million range? I have one that is in that range with all post war Springfield parts and a 2-55 SA dated barrel. Is this correct? The guy who wrote a book about the IHC was the one that said this but I can't remember where I found the info from. It's not popping up under google anymore.

The guy that wrote the book said that later ones, or should I say, the last ones, 1955, were all Springfield as IHC had stopped making parts. I'm just trying to find the site again. Anyone know the name of the book?

He actually listed the parts and their heat numbers. He was talking about this information in his new book about the IHC. Not sure if it was Scott Duff or someone else. Crap I can't find it.

I wasn't sure if it was all, or just a few. Seems it was just a few parts.

The 5.00M-5.21M ranges also feature some unique “outside” parts:

• HRA-profile stocks (5.04M-5.18M ranges)
• SA barrels (5.04M-5.18M ranges)
• SA bolts (5.05M-5.15M ranges)
• SA hammers (5.19M-5.21M ranges)
• SA triggers (4.62M-5.01M ranges)
• SA sight covers (4.62M-5.02M ranges)
