I picked up a large lot of different headstamps at the show Friday and am going to compile my finds from now on right here. All ammo is brass cased, nickel jacketed ball unless noted. I will be adding more as I go on.

Looks like you got some of the 1960s Milsurp from 50-round Boxes...One can get everything from very early 1900s right thru to the early 1960s, and all the variations ( "Guard/Shot" loads, Magistri short range frangibles, etc. which "Look" like normal Ball.) And the Variety of Inspectors and Factory Dates as well.
I did that in 1970s/80s Australia ( M91/38 FC Plus one 50 round box plus one clip for "Au$39.95") I have a collection of over 100 headstamps...and still finding more.

Nearly all this ammo will be "Primer Kaputt". If you have 100s of the one headstamp, then it is worth breaking it down for the Bullet and Solenite Powder for a New Prvi/Grafs Case and Boxer Primer.

Most of the 50 round Boxes had a good mix of "Depot Debris", but a lot consisted of either 20 plus 20 plus 10 from Breda M30 chargers (LMG) or from 8x6 round clips and a couple extra... By removing the Brass clips ( scrap value High) they were also "De-Militarizing" the ammo ( no longer suitable for instant Military Use) as required by Italian Law at the time. (1959-65).

BTW, the Gov't 50 round nested boxes were a "Copy" remake of the original 1914 50 round box used for filling the M1914 Revelli MG 10-column Box Magazine. ( cap .50 rounds)

Good find...share them with collector Fiends (oops, Friends)
