Regarding all the very friendly and well-conveyed input offered in response to "Determining the Authenticity of my Mosin Nagant Sniper," I say "Thank You." In reading everyone's comments, and searching other threads and stickies, I've found a number of elusive comments regarding the "desireability" of early CAI-imported rifles. First of all, can someone definitively tell me why "early CAI" imports are so desireable, and how to positively identify one?
The reason I ask is because I believe I have one, based on my readings, and follow-on inspections of my rifle.
Thanks again. I enjoy belonging to this web-site, and I truly enjoy the friendly, professional, informative interaction.
Best regards-
