Theater Knives of WWII

You are correct in saying that the San Antonio Iron Works of San Antonio, Texas, did purchase the 1913 Patton Cavalry Sabers from the United
States Government and did modify the swords into sword knives. However, these 1913 modified Sword knives were again modified into a Theater knifes during the War. There are numerous examples of these Theater made 1913 Patton knives in the book by Bill & Debbie Wright, "Theater Made Military Knives of World War II". It is not fair to lump all of the Anderson Knives , made from Patton Sword sections, as not being Theater Knives.
If you would like to see some of these examples, I can post images from the book. I suggest if collector's what more information, buy the book.
