I have one. I bought directly from them as soon as they landed, and not long after he was picked up by the govt for illegally importing guns. Part of the issue was these TT-33s he imported from Ukraine did not meet the criteria for import (aka no external safety).
The dude was difficult to work with, btw. Super abrasive.

Those that made it out were given a pass since it’s not egregious and all the fault was on the importer. And I don’t think enough made it out to be a concern (read: bogus rule not worth enforcing other than on the administrative violation)

 

I got two of the TG import pistols. 1942 and 1944 Izhevsk. I remember having to hit redial about 20 times before I got anything but a busy signal. I ordered from the owners wife, I believe. I also got another non safety Russian TT33 from SSME out of Plant City FL shortly before that. 1951 Izhevsk. Should have gotten a few more!

Yup. I ordered by phone and remember hearing her say that we were really being pushy about getting our orders in.

I think the tt33 was 150 for an unmatched mag. 200 for matched electro pencil magazine.

Right. If you get your hands on this pistol, always carry it either in a holster or in the back of your belt. By no means from the front! This gun has already shot off the balls of more than one of its owners.
