A picture that I came across recently that will interest those Forum Members who can correctly identify the rifle and bayonet model depicted in the photo below.
Small bore military repeating rifle in the service of the British Royal Naval Marines on board one of their Battleships.
The picture and caption appears in a publication titled “The Great War” and published by H. W. Wilson with a publication date of 1915-16.
I purposely left the upper picture intact otherwise the two bayonets on the right of the image would be lost.
