I feel fortunate to have been able to pick up this WW2 USN MARK 2 (KaBar style) fighting knife, especially since I got it at such a great price! and it’s in really good condition.
I believe the USN marked sheath is original. Its has 9 button type grommets which seems more than other WW2 KaBar style sheaths I’ve collected.
It’s taking me a while to find a Robeson ShurEdge Blade, which makes me think fewer of these were made than the other prime makers.
Would this Knife have been early in World War II, or later?
