Here's another possible Chinese made bayonet. I suspect that it's for Chinese made Type 1 rifle. However, I don't have a Chinese Type 1 to test. The closest I have is a Chinese used German Mauser M1904 and it fits well on that rifle. Here are the detailed photos of the bayonet, scabbard, and how it looks on that M1904. The detail of the rifle can be found here.

Is the mortise slot for attachment to the bayonet lug proper short length for the short lug of a Guangdong Type 1? If not, it may be a better fit for a Gongxian Type 1 or a ZZS which have longer (standard length) mortise slots. It could be a short ZZS bayonet. Those were influenced, I believe, by the German Banner Mauser imports of the 1930's which came with bayonets of similar style and that length to the subject bayonet. Of course, this is just my opinion. If your bayonet has the short mortise slot for a Guangdong Type 1, then we can consider your identification confirmed.

Good point. Here are some photos for comparison.
From left to right, this suspected to be Chinese made Type 1 bayonet, Gongxian Arsenal Type 1 bayonet, 41st Arsenal ZZS short bayonet, German made bayonet for standard length bayonet lug.

The suspected Chinese made Type 1 bayonet has shorter slot while Gongxian Type 1 bayonet has the same length as 41st Arsenal ZZS and the German made one.

I don’t have Guangdong Arsenal Type 1 rifle, the closest is this Mauser model 1904. I have a Gongxian Arsenal Type 1, this bayonet won’t even get slide on Gongxian Type 1 lug. Gongxian Type 1 rifle only takes Gongxian Type 1 bayonet, won’t take on any ZZS, VZ24, FN1924, or K98K bayonets.

Mauser 1904 on top, Gongxian Type 1 on bottom, notice the different lengths between the two, not only the bayonet lug length, but also the length between the front band and front edge of the front sight base, that explains the different handle lengths. Eventually, I will get a Guangdong Arsenal Type 1, but for now, that’s the best I can do for comparison.

I am impressed with your collection. The subject bayonet could well be for a Type 1 with the short lug (such as a Guangdong made version). I did not try to fit any other bayonet on my Gongxian Type 1, so you are telling something new! You know that the double edged Type 1 bayonets were also made with the short slot for use with the rifles with the short lugs.

The Mauser 1904 is a scarce item. Is that one of the few exported to China, or is it a generic export type?

German presented bayonet with barell ring should be israeli refurbishment post 1945, the other ones are interesting. The second from left should be chinese copy of german delivered M1907 double edged bayonet. Normally the M1907 rifle should be 6,8mm caliber.

Indeed, yes, the German one has Israeli markings on pommel but still retain the German markings on the blade, including the “39” year stamp on the top. The double edged one is Gongxian Arsenal made, with Gongxian double diamond logo, made in September 1933, one year and one month earlier than my Gongxian Arsenal Type 1 rifle. It’s known as Gong 98 rifle as it has standard length bayonet lug, as compared to shorter length bayonet lug on other arsenals made Type 1.
