I bought this last year and someone wanted to see pictures but I never got around to it. Well, now I got around to it. I looked for one of these for years and could never find good detailed pictures of one. Hopefully my taking some will help the next guy looking for the information I could never find! I replaced the original slant compensator with a muzzlenut and it has a Sovit slabside mag in it but otherwise it's how it left the factory. Like any Chicom, there are many variations of this rifle but here is one of them at least.

Rayman is correct, the Type 56-2 automatic rifle was accepted by the PLA as a TOE weapon, and exported in prodigal quantities, most noteably to Sri Lanka and to Pakistan.
