Found this at my daughters house, as she's off working and I've watching the little guys this summer, I made sure her guns were clean and secure.I Cant remember how she got it from me, but at least she cleans them for corrosive ammo, as it looks like she's blown through most of a can of Czeck LPS and the bore, she shines!.

Captured by the Nazi's from the Soviets, issued to Luft Park Gardelegen , later sold to Finland in 1944 and restocked.....
Im likely wrong, but that's what I have deciphered here on GB and Mr. RyanE

Hey, Richard!, Disaster! It ain't been too long, (Has it??! LOL!) but indeed, thanks for the warm welcome.

I just had to take pictures of the beautifully built thing, and its been 12 or 15 years since I first/last posted her and investigating its travails began. I think its wackensmacks are quite unique, I haven't found any others like it yet. Its one of my 3 German to Finland sales rifles.

......So.....after a bit of chatting with the daughter (She seasonally runs heavy equipment at a gravel quarry in summer) she offered up that I let her take it for a bit of Moose hunting many Moose seasons ago. I guess she like the gun, ........said I never asked for it back....so I had to ask her; " is that how it works??? LOL!!"
well the boys are behaved and all her guns were clean and ready, so I just made them a bit more secure.

....and I have the gun.🤣

I'm fairly sure the barrel is original to the receiver. The stock is certainly a Finn replacement.

I have another, a '39 91/30 with a Tikka Barrel, though its bolt is not blued, either, small matching font on the body and not the knob, just like the one I pictured. I suspect that is a German sale, due to the small font and its placement, but how the bolt would have stayed with the receiver for rebarrel through the Finn rebuild system is my only question..
