Flat vs. Cupped Buttplates on RC K98s.

"I know that all the Russian captures i have owned (around 24 in the past two years) all have had cupped butt plates. I don't see to many turn up around here with flat buttplates."
My one RC98 has the flat butt plate.

However, in keeping with the statement "...that the flat butt plate stock was generally only produced into 1941..." mine is an AX41.

That being the case, I can't tell if that's of any value.
