Do I include the Model 1917?

I’m planning the construction of a display room for my collection. I’ve got lots of ideas yet square footage and the almighty dollar are my limiting factors.

Question to the Enfield purists:
Does the Model 1917 get displayed in a British/Enfield group?
Pattern 14?
Ishapore variants?

Below I’m just figuring needed wall space for the collection. Not pictured is my M1917 and LEC. Hopefully a No4Mk1(T) is in the future cards….

Ishapore variants, yes.

As far as the P’14/M1917, they aren’t technically Lee-Enfields. But the M1917 is a derivative of the P’14 and they both saw Commonwealth usage. So it depends on how expansive or restrictive you want to be in your display.

Bonus points for the M1917 if it has Commonwealth characteristics.

The Model 1917 is American. By calibre though did get used for home defence in Britain for WW2.
The top rifle in your photo has the wrong sling fitted for display.
Display order by year.
That No1 Mk5 is very good, you just need a No1 Mk6, No4 Mk1* to complete the end of line. There are a few early ones missing but a very good start.
