I picked up a very-nice looking 1937 S/42 about a week ago. All numbers match. All markings in order and clearly visable. You can even still see the stamps on the stock, if you know where and what to look for haha.
The only question is, it has a SN of 39. The book I was reading said they all had SN of at least four digits? As I said, all the numbers match throughout the gun.
