Just picked up this lovely handgun. Thought it would go nice with my boxed Zip22.

I have a small YouTube Channel and am going to do a review on this one.

Any advice on what I can do to have it run as good as possible? I know it probably will have a bunch of problems, but want to see this girl at her "best"

Nice find with the box and papers. Keep it clean and give it a drop or two of oil on the bolt before shooting. Too much oil and it will be spitting hot oil back in your face. Don't expect target accuracy from a survival pistol but it should hit a paper plate at 20 feet without a problem (minute of rabbit accuracy). Also, it should be fired from a supported position such as using your backpack or a tree branch as a rest as you would in a survival situation, when results mean eating or not.

So here is what I found out. Charge the gun with your right hand straight back and let it go. When I tried going over the top with my left hand, would not feed a round

CCI Standard Velocity failed every round and everyday. CCI Mini-Mags worked awesome. I only shot off hand, and did not adjust my sights, but found where point of aim point of impact was and did okay.

Interesting - never saw one of those before.

I have to laugh because that pistol is now illegal here: the magazine is outside the grip. Same for some Olympic pistols.

CCI Mini-Mags, yay! My favorite.

Mine worked with everything I tried in it and it is a cool gun. My Wife bought this for me a long, long time ago. I never did find a way to carry it, so it's a backyard gun. Charter Arms had a Carbine version with a buttstock that would keep the gun afloat if you dropped it overboard. I used it in a friendly competition against a guy with a .357 Colt Python and won. I'm going to take it out and shoot it now that I remember I had it.
