Found some captured weapon reports during some research that people might find interesting.
Assuming U/I means unknown which makes me think that would be the "destroyed" part of the "destroyed or captured" in the report. (For both reports there were pages of another stuff but tried to keep it small arms related)

This report is from 81st Infantry Division's occupation duty in Aomori Prefecture. The shotgun collection is interesting to me as Japanese citizens could keep hunting rifles (See the blurb below). I would assume the majority of those shot guns were for hunting so curious why they collected them. Better yet does anyone here know how SCAP determined what was a hunting rifle?
