Hey gang,

Here is the newest addition to the Ross family in the museum: a Ross Mk.II (or Pattern 1911), but still retaining the unaltered blade shape! I have been after one of these for the last year, after picking up a P1911 with the altered blade shape, and learning that P1911s with the original shape still exist. To put it simply, I had to have one.

Markings consist of the various Ross inspection markings all over the bayonet, the Canadian "C with nestled Broad Arrow" government marking, "11" (P1911), and "3/15" (March 1915) issue/acceptance date on the left pommel, and the "Ross Rifle Co." markings on the right side. The scabbard has someone's initials ("M.F.D") scratched into it, as well as the serial number "8959" and "T" on the scabbard throat. This is the second "T" scabbard I've encountered, and these are something of a mystery.

Overall, another beauty to add to the collection!
