1915, numbers matching, and wearing Franzite fake mother of pearl grip scales. (I also have a set of real elephant ivory grip scales for it, which is why I originally bought this. But for shooting, I use the wood scales.)

I've posted this one previously, but it's the only 'bling' gun I own. It's the only Army 1911A1 with an all-7 serial number, and I guess some previous owner thought it was lucky, so had it gold-plated. The grips are real ivory... The plating tightened-up the military tolerances, and it shoots very well, indeed.
