I found this at my local Turners Outdoorsmans in Tucson. Ironically, Turners is extremely close to where B-West imports used to be located. Looking forward to taking it out to shoot.

It came with the original box and 2 mags. I was wondering if these are the grips they originally came with. I think these might be Pearce grips? I have some new grips coming I just ordered off Amazon. Although the grips on it fit my hand well but wanted to dress it up a bit.

I wanted some original orange bakelite, but they are a little small for my large hands. And the lanyard attachment kind of interferes with my grip as a lefty.

I found an old Kahr holster I had fits this gun well.

Here's the grips I have coming from Amazon (Turkey).

I have the same model Makrov, also imported by B-West of Tuc AZ. My pistol is stainless steel. In .380 cal. It has the exact same grips as yours. Never changed them out, as they fit my hand nicely. Most of the markings on the left side of your pistol are masked by the holster, but what is visible they are the same as mine.

Kept this pistol on our cabin cruiser during season. These pistols, while heavy to "carry" are virtually indestructible and highly reliable, with the exception of the weak mag springs. If kept fully loaded for a year +/-, they lose their elasticity to properly feed the weapon, thus causing jams, until replaced.

Purchased my Makrov new in 1994 and still looks NIB. Good luck with your pistol.

Thanks for the info.

Here’s the new grip installed. I’ve also added the fixed rear sight (not shown), but haven’t shot it yet. I’m afraid it might shoot low and will have to figure out a solution.

I also found another one of these early 90’s Russian imports at another shop for $299. But it’s in 9x18. It’s has the black plastic grips.
