I'm hoping the forum can help me out, I recently acquired a Santa Fe Lee Enfield faux jungle carbine. I'm pretty familiar with a lot of the Santa Fe sporters but this one has some anomalies I'm not familiar with.
First, Chrome or nickel plated bolt and front barrel band, second is original Santa Fe forend wood but aftermarket Monte Carlo rear stock and most baffling is- It does not have a detachable magazine, rather it has a floor plate like a p14. I've had no luck finding anything similar online. Was wondering if you guys have any ideas. Thanks!

Pictures would help, because of the receivers are built both in No.1 and No.4 rifles a simple floorplate+spring+follower design would not work. The rounds would jam on the receiver structure. It's possible that there is an internal magazine box like the P14/m1917 design, or the stock is countured to act like the magazine box.

There are variations with no magazine, and/or with no wrist socket, but I think most are probably one-of and use a removable mag that's flush with bottom of the rifle.
