Snagged this one off of GB as I thought it was going to go higher but I ended up being the only bidder at a great price.

From looking into Matt's book I know this is one of the first 1,500 rifles built by AV1 with a 1926 Tikka barrel. Definitely not a common one to find so I was excited to add it to the collection. It also was issued to the civil guard at some point based on the lined out numbers on the side of the barrel. The rifle is actually in great shape, only missing the hand guard which i will be trying to hunt down.

Nice score! Love the ATV1 receiver stamps. The SS stamps indicate it was indeed an Army to CG transfer. Very cool! Hand guards used to show up pretty regularly on the auction sites but get scarcer and scarcer as time passes...
Hopefully I can put up a post in the Trader and someone might have one to spare. Thank you also! I was very happy to grab this one.
You are on a roll. Beautiful Finn.
Love the stamps.
Congratulations
Thank you very much! Its always a great day when you bring a new one home.
