ID parachutist patch.

Looks to be from a nation with a monarch. I am thinking Middle East.

Anyone know for certain?

Doesn't ring a bell-maybe Morocco? The global jump wing poster used to be at my old unit; if you can find the entire poster, it likely has the pic. The Bragg/Turner book probably also has it. Try a militaria store.

As I recall, many military's have both a cloth as well as metallic version of their airborne insignia. I have no idea if that is the case here with Morocco. (Perhaps they have/(had) both?

As an example, the Netherlands cloth jump wings are not authorized for wear by US military, however, the metallic wings are authorized - but only on dress uniforms: ie, at the presentation ceremony upon earning 'foreign jump wings' many US personnel are pinned with a cloth insignia but will be required to obtain a metallic version for wear on their Class A uniform.
