Upcoming auction with Swiss K31-based sniper. Looks like good kit, including scope. Will watch but out of my price ability.

Found this to be the Swiss ZfK 55 which according to swissrifles.com does not have many similarities with the K31.

Anyone know, or have opinion, on the relative value of these? I am not a sniper fan, but have several K31s because of their fine shooting.

I have one of the ZFK/55's aka K31/55 and IMO one of the best sniper rifles out there. Very accurate with GP 11 ammo or hand loads with Sierra 168 grain match projos. The muzzle break is so effective you will think you are shooting a 223.

I've had my ZfK-55 for a number of years but still haven't had a chance to shoot it in quite awhile. Maybe one day soon.

I managed to pick one up too a few years ago but still haven't managed to shoot it. It's kind of sad because i have a case of gp11 sitting here too.

Wow, FlightRN, that is a nice looking rifle! Now I want the one soon up for auction even worse, however start bid is up there, start bid is too close to mortgage... I even have a case of GP11, too. How can I ever go back to my K31's...sigh!

Enough analogies, the ZfK-55 I was watching went for $3500 US. Expensive those 10s!

Best sniper rifle you can get....in my opinion!

1. Its very very accurate, with GP11 (I only say that because I have never handloaded for it)

2. You can be guaranteed its not fake.

$3500 is a good price for it, the newer imports are coming in at $5000
