Alright, I finally took the time to take a few pics of it. It looks like it wasnt even issued after being refurbished. The rifle is in excellent condition. I cant make out the importer. The bore is in excellent condition. The whole rifle is in excellent condition.

Hard to believe something that elegant came out of a Socialist or Communist country. That's super nice, congrats!

Here's another TRZ5 rifle. The workmanship and quality of materials used is outstanding on those, way better that what I've seen so far from the other shops in former Yugoslavia:thumbsup:

This one came from Samco and the serial is less than 40 away from yours.

The triggergaurd has been lined through and renumbered but everything else matches.
Those are both beauties ! The auction pics for Warfires rifle didnt do it justice!

Its very common to find an original M24 serial on the front of triggerguard lined out and the floorplate stamped matching to the receiver..Just to be clear did the Yugoslavs renumber the actual guard 1578?..I do have examples where the Yugoslavs scrubbed the guard and renumbered but I think they were early(2 digit)...My theory is not only was it less time consuming but mostly.. not a great idea to remove material from that area
