thanks Eric, for reposting his comment. Now since COD4 is as realistic as combat, does that mean bullets don't hurt IED's won't kill you, and there is a reset button for the real thing so we can get those guys out of the hospitals, put their limbs back on, and reverse those military funerals?

Not to mention fighting the war in an air conditioned living room.

Here it is:

MamasBoy needs to sit in a duck or a goose blind in freezing rain with his hands frozen around a shotgun for a few hours.

I've played COD..it's fun...it's a game...and has no semblance whatsoever to even a day at the range.
Notice the tongue sticking out-smiley face at the end of that sentence.

Mouseboy has always had the opportunity to find out what real combat is like (something many real Americans already know) just by enlisting and doing the first patriotic thing in his life, but apparently he places a higher value on safety and comfort than he does on patriotism and liberty for all.

Either that or he's just too skeered. :D

You know, over the past couple of years the Posse Comitatus Act has been posted and explained to certain disfunctional members and they ("They" refers to "certain disfunctional members" here out.) refuse to learn. "Posse Comitatus" is like "Habeus Corpus" to conspiracy theorists and tin-hatters. It means what they choose to believe it means and refuse to beleive they could possibly be incorrect or taking phrases out of context of the whole. Actually, they are idiots, but they are on my ignore list.
Ignore list - try it. One can read these forums and not get frustrated trying to teach anything to idiots. They live for the attention. When one is impotent in life, one seeks a way to feel in control of something. Hence, posing as someone with knowledge and common sense. And who's too say the 300lb German transvestite in his mommie's basement isn't a 300 Euro an hour attorney? Who cares? Let them post, don't respond.;)

Would you like me to go ahead and link the other posts in which you then seriously defend that statement in the same thread?

this then you really do live on Fantasy Island.
Compared to other games which have no bullet penetration or proper reload animations, yes this is more realistic.

If you believe Saddam had ties to AQ or WMDs you live in Fantasy land and deserve to have your head examined.

The key word in the child's response is "game". Kind of like "He don't got no game". To try to equate a "game" to real combat is an insult to anyone who has ever been in a fire fight. It just shows the lack of maturity of a small boy who has been indulged entirely too much by parents who want to be his "friend" versus raising him to be a productive member of society.

So bullet penetration and the ability to reload weapons, with a round in the chamber, without having to recharge them doesn't seem realistic to you? (those are the parts I am refering to)
Nope...just pixels on a computer screen.

It's a well researched game, but doesn't give one a realistic feel for shooting or combat.
