All three sleds and 08's with parts etc have effectively been 'built' by me so although main parts have come over the years from French and Belgian collectors/dealers, I have had to locate many parts, feedblocks and muzzles being the most common missing parts to complete the ensemble. So at last they are all pretty much complete, even down to relic barrel to sit on the sled deck. But to answer your great question I wish I knew. The original location of these 3 08's and sleds I can safely are products of the Western Front but anymore than that I do not know.

Feuerwerker some fantastic detailed photos. Last one of #116 great image of a wooden training MG08/15, but look at the hoses and all those drag straps....paradise!! :>)
