A local shop has had these for a while, and they have always intrigued me. But I don't collect German stuff, not even a little, so it's way outside of my wheelhouse.

What are they?

What value do they have?

Thank you all in advance!

Bavarian military merit cross and German 1914-1918 military honor cross (aka “Hindenberg Cross”) for veterans. Basically war service medals. Fairly common.

Thanks for the assist!

A friend recently acquired some porcelain & I figured that he might need this to go with it.

It'll give him a good starting point for his own research.
