63H2O raises a good point, I was given a jump suit by a WWII vet, it was his jump suit, but it is a post war studio mad one, how can that be it I got it directly from the vet? The answer is really simple, he and his buddies were extras on the filming of the movie "The Longest Day" and he told me that he liberated three of them from the costume department when they finished the movie. He added the patches to the uniform, and they are not all original.
