Yes that is original, has a Tula hammer and appears to be an inspectors mark also. Great piece of history. God bless your father for his service for us. My grandfather fought in the 'Bulge' as well and had too many harrowing stories to tell. He and my father who served with Patton in N.Africa were my hero's.
