Now we have the Japanese type 99 Arisaka rifle with cleaning rod! No import stamp. It is in 7.7. I've shot it and it shoots fine. The gun does have rust present ( see photos ) not bad for it's been cleaned pretty good but some is still there. This isn't mint, most aren't. Ground mum. Rifle is all matching, bolt ( and insides ) match the receiver number and so does the bayonet lug. I assume this gun is from around 1944 because everything is late war ( last ditch ) except for the butt plate because it's metal. both bands are stamped and the bolt is late war. Made by Nagoya. I believe the other markings means it's 6th series. Bore looks nice, appears to be one small spot of rust on the inside. No big deal. This is probably considered a transitional rifle. Their never was a monopod or airplane sights. Asking $175 shipped or best offer. SPF

Last is the Yugo SKS. When I bought this it appeared to have been used very little. All matching numbers. Still had a little bit of cosmoline all over it when I bought it. The bore looks great, no rust or pitting. Asking $200 plus shipping. SOLD
