they do exist - see the 'military odyssey 2005' photo set on the wpfg site - www.wpfg.org.uk (also shows strichtarn sight pouch) - but yes, the grey/green versions are far more common.

you can find the sight pouches on ebay.de or egun... i am looking for a strichtarn backpack myself but they are elusive.
