i assume you are looking for a nice used one since the new ones can be had for around $250.

I doubt that you will find a used Marlin .357 mag 1894 at $250. New ones go for double that price in discount stores and used ones hardly ever pop up. Winchester 92 clones in .357 go for about $100 less than Marlins.

i went to an auction a couple months ago and low and behold a .357 lever. not sure what make but it went for around $200 if i remember correctly. its kinda light for a deer rifle wouldn't you think?

I like Winchesters but I love my Marlin. The 1894 is truly a thing of beauty and it shoots well too. I did this card at 50 yards using a lively load of Vit N110....... no sense in them taking the scenic route on the way down range!
