Wm Moore & Grey rifle

I have a rifle that belonged to my grandfather, it is manufactured by Wm Moore & Grey, 165 Piccadylly, London. On its right side is written Lee-Speed Patents, BSA Co, K593, on the barrel has proof marks and NITRO PROVED stamped. Its caliber is .303. I would like to know more about the rifle and the gunsmiths that made it. Thanks for the information you can give me.

The William Moore company dates back to the very early 1800s. That address was used from 1896-1902. The BSA Lee Speeds were made from the late 1800s until WW II. It is a highly thought of sporter, with collector value. Many of those BSAs have a tang safety which was patented by BSA.
