Hi
I will be attending a local auction coming up.
Were the mod 70 rifles drilled and tapped for a scope or peep site?

I need to know the value of:

Winchester Model 70 30.06
Winchester Model 70 300 magnum
Winchester .22 magnum automatic
Ruger 44 magnum
Ruger Redhawk 44 magnum

I don't know if the rifles are pre '64.
Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks

Not nearly enough info to go on. A "late model" model 70 (plastic stock etc.) could go for $300 if it wasn't in great shape. A pre-war rifle in great shape could go for $2500 or more.

Ditto on the others

so the earlier the better, i guess prior ww2 is best. but would magnums draw considerably higher amounts over stand calibers like the 30.06?

The magnum is definately post war so it would depend - sounds like modern guns to me so you are looking at shooters not collectors so they are worth whatever a shooter would pay.
